COREY HAIM

The LA Coroner’s office is reporting that actor Corey Haim is dead at the age of 38.  It appears to be an accidental overdose.  Apparently, he was found unresponsive in his Southern California home.

Corey Haim was most known for his role in teen movies “Lucas” and “The Lost Boys”.  In recent years, he appeared in the A&E reality TV show “The Two Coreys” with his friend Corey Feldman. The show was canceled after 2 seasons in 2008.

An autopsy will determine the official cause of death.

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan sues E*Trade for $100 million over a Super Bowl ad. She states that the ad which has a character named Lindsay and referred to as a “milkaholic” is a reference to her.

The lawsuit was filed in New York and Lohan is claiming that her likeness, characterization and name were used without her permission. Her claim is that she has the notoriety and fame as a one name individual like Oprah and Bono.

E*Trade’s ad was shown in the Feb. 7 Super Bowl, which according to Nielsen media drew about 106.5 million American viewers, a record for a U.S. television program. It is part of a series of ads featuring babies who play the markets.
